A paint device driver for the results was the Super Bowl, with a say book $143.7m inward non-parlay wagering. Basketball, however, remains crucial to the state’s sports betting market, with bettors placing $503.1m in wagers on the feature over the 28 days of February.
“The popularity of the NBA inward particular proposition has e'er kept New Jersey’s sportsbooks comparatively engaged in Feb even as most other legal markets hurt a post-Super Bowl hangover,” Danzis added.
Accounting for 91% of New Jersey’s February palm was online sportsbooks, drafting $899.6m inwards wagering. FanDuel/PointsBet/SuperBook led the way of life with $14m inward revenue, followed by DraftKings/Fox Bet/Resorts with $8.6m.
Online casinos and poker revenue meantime amounted to $130m, down feather 6% from January but upwardly 39% from Feb 2021.
