Idaho Falls Woman Kidnapped, Tortured Over Casino Payout Dispute, Court Hears

An ID Falls woman kidnapped, tortured, and left for idle was targeted o'er a conflict around gambling casino winnings, prosecutors believe. They also guess at to the lowest degree ace of the attackers was duped into committing the crime.

On Tuesday, Maddeline Ovard, 30, was sentenced to 23 years in prison house for her role in the brutal attack, the Post Register reports.

Ovard took a plea trade and has agreed to prove against her co-conspirators, some of whom are unknown.

The 33-year-old dupe was seized from a friend’s put up inwards March 2021 past tercet women inward masks. Despite their efforts at concealment, she recognised two. According to the victim, they were Ovard and 37-year-old Tabatha McKnight.

Mystery Ringleader May follow Dead

The public prosecutor told the homage that Ovard and McKnight had briefly taken the dupe to the rest home of a man named Susan Anthony Hoff, who has since died from a drug overdose.

To date, Ovard and McKnight are the only when individuals to be supercharged with the crime. The 3rd adult female has not been identified in court of justice filings.
