Cirque du Soleil has launched its in vogue(p) show, Mad Apple, at Las Vegas’ New York-New York Hotel & Casino.

The modern-day circus companionship has debuted its new production, which it called “a high-energy cocktail of comedy, music, dance and high-flying acrobatics,” at the Big Apple-themed property, operated by MGM Resorts, on the Las Vegas Strip.

Over the show’s 80-minute runtime, audiences are taken on a tour of New York’s fivesome boroughs, with sets inspired by the city’s recognisable landmarks, such as the Statue of Liberty and the Chrysler Building.

Mad Apple features a change of entertainment, including stand-up comedy for the first off time inward a Cirque du Soleil show, with headlining comedians Brad Williams and Rex Harrison Greenbaum, alongside freestyle comedy rapper Chris Turner.

Live medicine is also on offer, themed around New York’s musical past times and present, and led past musical theater manager Xharlie Black, quint track vocalists and a five-piece band.

“We are thrilled to let the joyous Mad Apple party started in Las Vegas,” said Paul Simon Painter, Mad Apple's Co-Creator and Executive Producer.

“From the moment guests get into the theatre, they are whisked off to unity of the most beloved cities in the reality with a show that fuses screaming(a) acts from multiple comedians and daring aerobatics with the amusement and eclecticism of New House of York City.”

Mad Apple is performed Fri through Tuesday, with no shows on Wednesdays or Thursdays. There are ii shows a night, at 7pm and 9:30pm. Tickets take up at $59.
