The body has stated the appointment of Hard Rock International EVP and Chief Legal Officer, Ilkim Hincer, as Chair, and George IV Sweny, VP Compliance at Flutter Entertainment has been appointed as Vice-Chair of the CGA’s Board of Directors.

CGA President and CEO, Saint Paul Burns, commented on Ilkim’s new role, saying: “I am pleased that Ilkim has accepted the role of Chair of the Board of Directors. I’ve known Ilkim for years and make followed his notable life history inward the gaming industry.

“Ilkim has a strong cart track record with some of the world’s largest gaming operators, both here in Canada and inwards the US. I look send on to working alongside him as we recoil plump for from the pandemic and spot the CGA to capitalise on all of the exciting technology, iGaming and sports betting developments across Canada.”

Hincer commented: “I’m honoured to process as Chair. The CGA has played a paint role inward portion our industry weather condition this incredibly intriguing pandemic.

Hincer and Sweny will bring together Robert Scarpelli (Managing Director, LT Advisory) and Danielle President Bush (Partner, McCarthy Tétrault LLP), CGA Board's Corporate Security and Treasurer.
