Canadian Gaming Association announces new Chair and Vice-Chair

The national trade association and representer of operators and suppliers in Canadian gambling, the Canadian Gaming Association (CGA), has appointed two new members

The body has stated the appointment of Hard Rock International EVP and Chief Legal Officer, Ilkim Hincer, as Chair, and George IV Sweny, VP Compliance at Flutter Entertainment has been appointed as Vice-Chair of the CGA’s Board of Directors.

CGA President and CEO, Saint Paul Burns, commented on Ilkim’s new role, saying: “I am pleased that Ilkim has accepted the role of Chair of the Board of Directors. I’ve known Ilkim for years and make followed his notable life history inward the gaming industry.

“Ilkim has a strong cart track record with some of the world’s largest gaming operators, both here in Canada and inwards the US.
